Al Niknabard CCIM, CPP
Founder & Owner

Al Niknabard has been in the parking and transportation industry since arriving in Portland in 1988. During this period, he has held positions relating to all aspects of the industry affording him a well-rounded knowledge of personnel and revenue management, customer service, accounting, valuations and underwriting, feasibility studies and technology. Al has enjoyed the support of many mentors throughout the past few decades who have provided him with opportunities to learn and enhance his skills at every turn.

He holds designations from National Parking Association (CPP) and Capital Commercial Investment Institute (CCIM). Throughout the last decade, Al has been involved in underwriting several high-profile transactions as it pertains to parking revenues and forecasting as part of the acquisition and the sale teams. He presently serves as the Board President of Portland Festival Symphony. For the past 38 years, Portland Festival Symphony has brought live classical music to Portland Parks to audiences, some of whom would not have an opportunity to be exposed to such experience, performed by some of the best musicians in the Pacific Northwest. Al also serves on the Board of Oregon & SW Washington chapter of CCIM Institute where education and enhancement of real estate skills are focused on and cultivated.

Al enjoys several different hobbies including playing music, sculpting, biking, motorcycles and occasional one-off artistic endeavors. Having been involved in the business community through his work, Al has established many strong relationships in the community and is very familiar with Portland’s business and community objectives.

Michelle Niknabard
Business Manager

Michelle Niknabard has a deep knowledge of and experience in retail and service industry including parking, personnel management and accounting. In a sense, Michelle has been involved in parking all her life as she accompanied her father in visits to parking facilities, interaction with employees, clients and customers from a very early age. Michelle joined her father each Thanksgiving starting at the age of 8 when they visited every parking facility on Thanksgiving morning and served the employees pies, juice, cookies and other seasonal fare thanking each of them for their willingness to work and serve the customers and ‘holding the fort down’ while others enjoyed time with their family and friends.

Michelle enjoys many artistic hobbies and has a passion for aesthetics, design and fashion. Michelle’s enthusiastic and fresh approach to the parking industry brings new ideas to the table from the perspective of a millennial inducing outside-the-box thinking and problem solving.
